BOSTON, MA, January 29, 2019 — ShopAdvisor and Smashburger Franchisee, Regrub, LLC, reported today the results of a mobile proximity marketing program for four locations in the greater Tampa, FL area. The powered by ShopAdvisor campaign, which ran in Q4 2018, exceeded all expectations. All told, the promoted meal combinations reached more than 11.5 million potential customers, resulting in more than 31,000 customer engagements, and lifted sales by 15% at the participating locations.
ShopAdvisor will be showcasing the success of the campaign during a Webinar with Fast Casual on February 12th at 2 pm EST, where Tom Jones of Regrub and Giuseppe Calabrese of ShopAdvisor will be the panelists. This webinar will take a look at how ShopAdvisor strategically targeted and curated a contextually intelligent mobile proximity marketing campaign to connect Regrub’s 4 locations with 31,000 customers, and delivered a 15 percent sales lift in 90 days.

ShopAdvisor worked closely with Regrub’s executive team in defining the campaign’s many attributes including which meals combinations to offer and when, audience and app targeting, geofencing the locations, creating rich media promotions and calls to action for the consumer including getting directions to the nearest location and landing pages for more information and options. ShopAdvisor not only maximized impressions and engagements but reduced the overall cost per engagement throughout the campaign by over 80% over time.
